How your information is handled

The short version

• The only personal information this site collects is what you type into the project brief form.
• I use it only to reply to you and, if we work together, to run the project.
• I don’t sell it, rent it or add you to a mailing list.
• Visits are counted without cookies, and there are no advertising or tracking cookies.

What the brief form collects

Your name and email (required); optionally your business name, website, phone number, budget range and timeframe; the services you tick; and your message. The server also uses your IP address briefly, in memory, to limit repeated submissions, and keeps only a one-way hash of it, in memory, for that purpose. Like most websites, the hosting provider’s standard logs may also record IP addresses for security and troubleshooting. Hidden fields record a time check and a random submission number, used to block spam and prevent duplicate messages.

Where it goes

When you send the form, the website’s server checks it and emails it to my inbox. Two services handle it on my behalf, only to do that job:

• Cloudflare hosts this website and runs the code that checks the form.
• Resend delivers the email with your brief to my inbox.

Both companies are based in the United States, and Cloudflare runs its network worldwide. Your information may be processed and stored outside Canada, including in the United States, where it is subject to local laws. Neither service may use it for its own purposes.

If an automatic acknowledgement is switched on, you receive one email confirming your message arrived. It is a reply to your request, not marketing.

How long it’s kept

Enquiries that don’t become projects are deleted from my inbox within 12 months. If we work together, project records are kept for as long as needed for the work and for tax and legal requirements. Resend keeps its own delivery records for a limited time under its own policy.

Analytics and cookies

Cloudflare, which hosts this site, counts page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It doesn’t use cookies or browser storage, doesn’t build a profile of you across websites, and never sees what you type into the form.

There are no advertising or tracking cookies, and nothing here asks for your consent because nothing needs it. If that changes, this page will be updated and you will be asked before anything loads.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you sent. Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) gives you these rights. Email mannp6903claudeai@gmail.com.
